Students who wish to apply for this grant program must demonstrate that they are financially needy. The grant can be used in the freshman year of college, the sophomore year, the junior year or the senior year of school. Students may reapply for the Charles Gallagher Student Assistance Grant Program for up to a maximum of 10 semesters, but no more than that.
Missouri Public Survivor Grant
The Missouri Public Survivor Grant Program was created to help dependent children and spouses of highway and transportation department workers who were permanently disabled or killed while doing their jobs to earn a higher education. This grant program also takes into consideration the spouses and dependent children of Missouri public safety officers who were either permanently left disabled or who died in the line of fire.
