You need to complete two steps in order to apply for the Nissan Scholarship: 1) Fill out the FAFSA; 2) Fill out the Nissan scholarship application . Luckily, to receive this scholarship, the GPA requirements are not too stringent: you only need a 2.5 high school GPA or higher to be eligible for the Nissan Scholarship in Mississippi.

The HELP program was created to help families who find themselves in extreme need when it comes to finding the money to send their kids to a postsecondary institution. Mississippi students who apply for this grant program must be residents of the state and also must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5. They also must have a combined family income of no more than $36,000 or less to apply for funding from this grant program. Students who have more than one sibling may be eligible to apply for this grant.
Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant
The Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant is a program that is based upon merit. Students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and score very high on college entrance examinations can apply for this grant program. Applicants must be undergraduates enrolled in or planning to attend state postsecondary schools. This grant program is available to full-time students but not part-time students. This grant offers up to $2,500 on a yearly basis.
Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grant
The Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grant is open for all Mississippi residents who are not receiving the full Federal Pell Grant to attend college or university. This grant awards in the range of $500 to $1,000 to undergraduates who are planning to attend Mississippi colleges.
High school seniors who apply for the Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grant must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher. The applicant must also have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and either an ACT score of 15 or higher or an equivalent score on the SAT. Those wanting to apply for this grant program must be planning to attend a two year or four year private accredited or public college in the state.

This website is very informational but I am seeking a scholarship or grant for early high school graduates. I was informed that several states have them but I cannot seem to locate one in the state of Mississippi. Is there a scholarship or grant for early graduates in the state of Mississippi?
