APTS applicants need to be either a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, alien, or refugee, and they must meet income limits and not have defaulted on a previous loan. The Veterans Tuition Awards (VTA) provides between $500 per semester for part-time study and up to $1,000 per semester for full-time study to eligible veterans enrolled at an undergraduate or graduate degree-granting college or in an approved vocational training program in New York State. The New York State Senate: Richard J. Roth Journalism Fellowship is in the whopping amount of $29,500. per year, but there is only one such award given per year. The deadline for the application is May 6th. American Institute of Architects Eleanor Allwork Scholarship Grants
This scholarship grant can be applied for by residents of the state of New York who plan to stay in New York to study for their college or university degree.
